Hi Reader,

I'm about a month into a "teach AI to write like me" experiment.

And I wonder if it's been worth my time.

If you've been hanging with me since I began this newsletter...

You've seen me connect many random things.

Star Wars, with my new YouTube video format.

Kelly Clarkson's Christmas album, with my musical healing livestreams.

The Beatles, with my 5-day challenge to track your soulful life, and chart your next career move.

That writing style has been hard for my AI tool to wrap itself around.

Too many non-linear variables, I guess. 🤷

Which leaves me with a few choices:

1. Accept the style/approach that AI generates in its first draft, then massage it into what I want
2. Continue to train it with my writing, in the hopes it will catch my vibe soon
3. Abandon the AI ship, at least on the writing piece, and use it more for research or administrative work

We're living in interesting times.

There's so much hype, and fear, around what AI is doing to our work and daily life.

The techie part of me is intrigued.

And yet, after this past month, my soul is starting to lose its place, and its voice.

When it comes to getting my work done...

I appreciate the technology.

I also lean heavily on my soul's whispers and nudges.

Can they co-exist? Are they meant to?
